See who is coming and collect the details you need for your plans.
December diaries fill up quickly, so a Christmas party invitation works best when it goes out early and answers the practical questions at once: when, where, who is invited and what there is to eat and drink.
Many guests will have more than one party on the same weekend. Give a start and a finish time, say whether partners and children are welcome, and set a reply-by date that leaves time to book the food.
For a work party, say who is invited, whether it starts during the working day and how people will get home. For a Secret Santa, add a note about gifts with the spending limit and the date for drawing names.
For your Christmas party, collect RSVPs online, manage your guest list and explore thank-you cards for afterwards.
