    When to send

Send party invitations two to three weeks ahead for drinks at home or in a bar. For an engagement or anniversary party with guests travelling, send them four to six weeks ahead and ask for replies ten days before.

    Make it personal

Edit the wording, colours and envelope, or upload artwork you have already designed.

    Share one link

Send your invitation by message or email. Guests open it in their browser.

    Keep replies together

See who is coming and collect the details you need for your plans.

A party invitation can be for almost anything: engagement drinks, a new home, an anniversary, leaving drinks or a night of dancing. Pick a design that matches the mood, then add the details guests need to turn up on time.

Say what the party is for

Put the reason in the first line, whether that is an engagement, a new home or no reason at all. Guests decide what to wear and whether to bring a gift from that one line, so make it clear.

    Count the replies without chasing

Every invitation carries a reply link. Guests answer in their browser, your guest list shows the numbers as they come in, and you can export it when it is time to order the drinks.

    Your invitation questions

Can I collect a drink or food preference?
Yes. Add a question to the RSVP form, such as a choice between two menus, and ask it per guest when a couple might answer differently.
Can guests find the venue from the invitation?
Yes. The invitation page shows the address with a link that opens it in a maps app, and guests can add the date to their calendar.
Can I keep the party invitation private?
Yes. Turn on password protection in the event options and give guests the password separately, for a surprise or a small guest list.
Can I use my own party design?
Yes. Upload a finished design and Invite Jam adds the envelope, the reply form and the guest list around it.
